SOS Meeting on this Sunday 31st January

The next Save Our Schools meeting is on this Sunday, 31st January, 3.30pm at Costa Coffee, The Parade, Oadby.

We will be discussing any developments since the close of the consultations for the Oadby school changes.

All parents and community members interested in the latest Oadby schools' age range change proposals are welcome.

SOS Meeting on Sunday 29th November - NOT TODAY

The next Save Our Schools meeting is on Sunday, 29th November, 3pm  to 4.30pm at Costa Coffee, The Parade, Oadby.

There is some confusion about the date. It is NOT TODAY (22nd November). We are sorry for any confusion.

We will be discussing any new information that came out of the consultation meetings last week and possible next steps.

New Save Our Schools Meeting

New 2017 Consultation & Schools' Meeting

A new consultation on age range changes in the Oadby schools was released on Monday 9th November. Details are on the web sites of Gartree, Manor and Beauchamp (links below).


The schools are holding two joint consultation meetings at 6pm and 7:30 pm on Wednesday 18 November. Both are ticketed events. Reserve your tickets via the consultation pages on the schools' web sites:

SOS Oadby Meeting this Saturday

The next meeting of the Save Our Schools Oadby campaign will happen on Saturday 5th September at 4pm. The venue as usual is the Conference Room at Costa Coffee on The Parade Oadby. We will be getting up to date with developments including the Beauchamp Free School Proposal. We hope to see you there.

Free School Meeting at Beauchamp College Tonight

Beauchamp College are in the early stages of a proposal for a Post-16 Free School.

More details are on Beauchamp's Free School web site. It seems that this school may be in addition to the existing college as the letter to parents states, "We envisage a
brand new facility...".

We do not know yet how this would fit into the other proposed changes as the schools continue to meet with each other to try to agree to a joint proposal.

Beauchamp are holding a Post-16 Free School Information Evening tonight (Wednesday 2nd September 2015). This includes a presentation from the Principal and a question and answer session regarding the proposal,

Doors will open at 6.15pm and the evening will begin at 6.30pm.
